Micromax has geared up to launch another Canvas series device - the Canvas Play (Q355) which now appears on company's official website. Nothing has been mentioned regarding its availability or pricing details on the site. The handset will come with latest running Android 5.0 Lollipop.
This dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) handset features a 5.5-inch (480x854 pixels) FWVGA display and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6582M) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM.
It is equipped with 8 GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded via microSD card (up to 32 GB). Also, It sports a 5 MP fixed-focus rear camera with an LED flash, while there is a 0.3 MP front-facing camera also on board. On the connectivity front, the Canvas Play offers 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth options.
Canvas Play houses a 2820 mAh battery, which according to the official website claims to deliver up to 10 hours of talk time and up to 273 hours of standby time.
The handset will come with some of the preloaded apps including Askme, Chaatz, Clean Master, Hotstar, M! Games, M! live, News Hunt, PayTM, Quikr, and Snapdeal, among others.
