After a huge sale of Mi 4i, some new details of the next flagship of Xiaomi, which is being called Mi 5 has surfaced over the internet. According to the details, the flagship might be launched in the upcoming month of July.
Its a possibility that along with Mi 5, a bigger variant of the same Mi 5 Plus may be seen in the market at around same time; as per the leaks on Weibo.
According to some of the specifications as seen over the internet, the Mi 5 will sport 5.2 inch QHD (1440 x 2560 pixels) display, whereas Mi 5 Plus will feature 6 inch 2K display with a design sporting nearly bezel-less display. Also, the Mi 5 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor accompanied with 3GB/4GB RAM. Magnificent 16 MP rear camera, 8 MP front facing camera and a powerful 3000 mAh battery to power the handset are some more features.
Mi 5 Plus is likely to support the same 16 MP rear camera with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB internal storage.
Xiaomi Mi 5 will come with fingerprint scanner or not is still under the veil. This variant may come in 16GB/64GB in built storage which is still unclear.
